  • National Day of Prayer: Thursday, May 7th at 7:00 PM. Be praying for our upcoming National Day of Prayer in Long Lake. We will have a prayer service at the church for our country.
  • Our next Dress-a-Girl workshop: Saturday, June 6 at 10:00 AM: This will be another kit-making workshop, so we’ll need several surgers, an iron and ironing board, fabric scissors, and lots of extra wide double-fold bias tape! See Dress-a-Girl for more information on how these dresses reduce trafficking of God’s precious little girls. Even if you don’t sew, there are plenty of things that you can do to help with this project.
  • Pastor John will be ordained: June 12th in the Niskayuna Wesleyan Church, in Niskayuna, NY! (about 7:00 or 8:00 PM as a part of the conference there). Praise God for sending Pastor John to LLWC!
  • Pray for Louisa, Pat Smith, Janet-Lee, Mike Saniford, our missionaries, and others who need healing and encouragement.
  • Praise God for the way that he’s using Pastor John in our community. Our job is to support Pastor John through prayer and encouragement!
  • Praise God for another great lesson on “The Promises of God: My sheep hear my voice.” If you missed the lesson this morning, you can read the scriptures: John 10:22-30; Matthew 4:4; Romans 10:7; Hebrews 11:6; James 2:17; 2 Timothy 3:16; Romans 10:9; Mark 9:7.
